Gould Hall houses all of View’s performance art productions. The space is equipped with a beautiful sprung activity floor and 23-foot high ceiling finished with acoustic tiling and wooden chandeliers. Stunning ceiling to floor velvet curtains flank acoustically enhanced walls lined with ample windows and electronic blinds. Stadium style cushioned seating provides the option to seat 180 people, or the seating can be electronically retracted to allow full floor space. State of the art audio equipment is accompanied by a screen that descends from the ceiling for power point and video presentations. Our modern lighting system provides a myriad of lighting combinations that can be customized for each event.

COURTYARD:

The Courtyard at View is surrounded by a variety of Adirondack trees and wildflowers providing a natural backdrop for your event. It is conveniently located just outside Gould Hall with easy access to the catering kitchen. The walkway along the edge of the Courtyard is lined with redwood rocking chairs, benches, and tables for guests to enjoy. If you are planning a wedding ceremony in the Courtyard, a beautiful Adirondack Arbor is available for rent.

PARKING LOT & BREEZEWAY:

The parking lot in front of View offers the largest space for an event tent with easy access to Gould Hall and the catering kitchen. The adjacent breezeway provides guests with rocking chairs and benches for relaxing under the entrance awning.

o 70 parking spaces on asphalt without tent
o 20 parking spaces on grass without tent

NOONAN ENTRANCE WAY:

The Noonan Entrance Way has 23-foot high ceilings with exposed beams and hanging lights finished in a modern craftsman style. The ten-foot wide hardwood staircase and balcony can be used for a wedding party grand entrance while the elevated staircase landing is an outstanding space to use the podium or wireless microphone to give a speech. Being positioned between Gould Hall and the Art Galleries make the Entrance a fantastic location for a pre event cocktail party. Tables and chairs can be set up to serve as a pleasant meeting space for gatherings of 50 people or less.

ART GALLERIES:

View’s four art gallery spaces showcase exhibits from across the country. The Galleries feature modern track lighting and are also have excellent natural light if desired. Up to 50 chairs, podium, and audio/visual equipment can be set up for lectures while cocktail tables and bars are easily accommodated for parties. View’s sleek Grand Piano is available to add an elegant feel to any occasion. Spacious rooms and a dramatic vaulted ceiling in the Community Gallery create an ideal atmosphere for guests to comfortably view art while attending your event.

CLASSROOMS:

Both of View’s classrooms offer tables and chairs, a presentation screen, and Wi-Fi internet. If desired, a sliding wall in the double classroom can divide the room into two separate meeting spaces. The single classroom has a small kitchen space equipped with a sink for easy cleanup if refreshments are served. Dimmable track lighting, large windows with electronic blinds, and art displayed from View’s permanent collection creates a cozy and festive atmosphere suitable for parties or exercise classes outside of the academic or business realm.

COMMERCIAL CATERING KITCHEN:

View’s licensed commercial kitchen is equipped with a fully operational gas range oven, commercial dishwasher, and ample storage and counter space. Prime location near Gould Hall and the Courtyard along with the use of our rolling warming racks makes transporting food from the Kitchen through the building easy and efficient. The rolling stainless steel counters give the space the ability to transform for cooking classes and demonstrations.
