The Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors is a highly competitive exhibition featuring auquamedia works on paper, from many of the top living painters in North America. It has been ranked one of the best watercolor exhibitions in the country. Commemorative catalogs and posters are available in the gift shop and online HERE.
Juror of Selection Pat San Soucie AWS df, NWS
Pat San Soucie creates watermedia paintings in a unique style by pouring pigments through filters, to yield textures, shapes and color. Over the course of her distinguished career her work has grown from Midwestern field, grass and weeds, and forms of recognizable organic subjects to abstracts which still hint at their organic roots. Pat relies on favorite places and objects as influences in her art whether in flat, or in three dimensional layers using washes on paper and watermedia acetate. San Soucie studied at the University of Wisconsin. She has taught at the Summit NJ Art Center for 28 years and has received many of watercolor’s most prestigious awards and honors.
Juror of Awards Paul Jackson AWS, NWS
Paul Jackson’s watercolors have top honors in many of the leading national and international competitions. Jackson has been featured as one of the “Master Painters of the World” in International Artists Magazine. His artwork has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine, American Artist, Watercolor, Watercolor Magic, Watercolor Artist, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, NPR, and CBS News. Jackson was the featured speaker at the International Watercolor Masters Invitational in China. He has served as the juror for the American Watercolor Society’s prestigious international exhibition.
