New Opportunity: Community Arts Program Manager

View Center for Arts & Culture in Old Forge is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and organized individual to develop and manage a diverse program of classes and workshops at View. Get creative in developing a menu of art-making opportunities, from crafts to fine art in all media, for all ages. Contract artists and teachers to lead classes, and perhaps teach some yourself! Coordinate logistics, assist with program marketing, and provide support and guidance to instructors as needed. Schedule is flexible (and possibly hybrid) Oct.-May, full-time June-Sept, and includes occasional evenings and weekends.

View offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment in a LEED certified multidisciplinary art center located in the beautiful central Adirondacks. This position requires excellent organization and communication skills, the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team, and an interest in finding creative ways to engage all ages through the arts. Art skills, teaching, and/or classroom or workshop leadership experience a plus. Come to View and bring your creativity to life! Flexible schedule, with hybrid option, approximately 30 hrs/wk. Compensation $30,000 - $35,000, based on qualifications and experience. Housing assistance available.
