Join the View team full time for JULY & AUGUST as our Community Arts/Workshops Program Manager.
This summer contract position will work closely with a dedicated intern to manage the delivery of all summer classes, workshops, and health & wellness programs. The program manager will communicate with all instructors, order materials as needed, manage program registration, assist with program marketing and outreach, and gather feedback from program participants. View works with teaching artists to offer a range of art making opportunities for all ages, including jewelry-making, stained glass, photography, painting and drawing, as well as a daily drop-in craft program for families. Current health & wellness programs include on-site yoga and Zumba.
We are seeking an energetic, creative, enthusiastic, and organized individual to coordinate the implementation of View’s summer schedule of classes and workshops. Crafting and/or fine arts skills, teaching, and/or classroom or workshop leadership experience a plus, but not required.
View offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment in a purpose-built multidisciplinary Art Center located in the beautiful Central Adirondacks. Compensation is $4,000 for the contract period July 1 – August 31, 2023.
