
Ann Stone Costello
Ann Stone Costello was a practicing attorney in Washington DC for over 30 years, specializing in financial services issues. She retired from BNY Mellon in 2015 as a Managing Director and the head of Global Government Affairs, a division she created in 2009. Before that she was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and headed the Washington DC office. Her career began with the Washington DC firm of Williams & Jensen where she became a partner. She is a graduate of Duke University and the George Washington University National Law Center. Her non-profit board experience includes two terms on the board of the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, Connecticut. She and her husband John have a camp on Fourth Lake where they spend their summers, the lake where John first went to summer camp as a boy. Their son John and his wife Adriana live in San Diego with their three year-old daughter Julia, and their son Sam and wife Halerie live in Raleigh, North Carolina and expect their first child in September. Ann and John now reside in Vero Beach, Florida.
