Heather Caufield - Visual Arts Manager

Hello there! I am Heather Caufield and I grew up and have lived in Old Forge most of my life. I attended SUNY Plattsburgh, where I studied Art History and Museum Studies. I have always had a passion for art and have studied several different media. It wasn’t until I started working at View that I truly fell in love with pottery. I enjoy both wheel throwing and hand building, and have been creating with clay for about five years now. 

I enjoy the outdoor activities like kayaking, swimming, hiking, etc. These are some of the reasons I love living in the Adirondacks. I also enjoy practicing yoga and spending time with my cat, Arrow.
