Everyone is invited to View’s Saturday Night Opening Reception, this Saturday, May 6, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We’re excited to celebrate five new exhibitions. The reception will feature hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and the opportunity to meet with several
of the exhibiting artists. The reception is free and open to the public.

2017 Central Adirondack Art Show
Since 1952, The Central Adirondack Art Show has been a long-standing Old Forge tradition, showcasing some of the finest artists from throughout the Central Adirondack Region and beyond.

A Study in Contrasts: Barry Lobdell and Russell Serrianne
A Study in Contrasts juxtaposes the works of Barry Lobdell and Russell Serrianne. In this collaborative exhibition one can see how shape, form, and texture work to convey similar ideas through disparate media.

Collages and Assemblages by Anastasia Osolin
Anastasia Osolin’s collages and assemblages search for the fantastic in the mundane. Through the use of everyday objects, Osolin creates miniature worlds within her work that invoke a sense of awe and wonder.

Catharine Westlake: As I See It.
Artist Catharine Westlake has been exhibiting throughout the Northeastern United States since the 1950’s. Westlake is a brilliant colorist, whose work explores the natural world through her own personal lens, bringing about a vibrant sense of self-expression in the worlds she creates.

Sean Smith: Natural Selections
Painter, Sean Smith’s main source of inspiration is found through his exploration of the Adirondack Park. Stylistically, Smith references the work of impressionists, both in his use of color and his thick application of paint.
Hope to see you there!
