Volunteers and View – as the song says, “you can’t have one without the other!” This has been the case since View was created and still holds true today. Volunteers are View!
A taskforce was formed about a year ago to evaluate the role of volunteers at View and to determine how volunteers will continue to support the mission in the months and years to come. Thanks to committee members Linda Bamberger, Margie Burstein, Lynn Durkin, Judy Foley, Laurie Montanye, Sue Russell, and Donna Willsey, we’ve made great strides. Leslie Bailey is our key staff contact and we thank her for providing the group with the history and information we need.
When called upon, a handful of volunteers jumped into action on May 6th for the Spring Opening reception. On deck that evening was Jeanie West, Debbie Graydon, Vonnie Kinney, Wendy McGraw, Sue Russell, George Cady, Ron Rakowski, and Donna Stoner.

On Thursday, June 8, from 10:00 to 11:30 am, join us for a “Welcome Back, Volunteers” reception at View. All past, present, and potential volunteers are encouraged to attend. Welcome old friends, make new ones, and learn what’s new at View!
