Presented by Pendragon Theatre Company, "Art" by Yasmina Reza revolves around the interconnected lives of three men; Serge, Marc and Yvan. Close friends for 15 years, their friendship threatens to crumble when Serge buys a very expensive painting. He is proud of his purchase, yet his friends have one problem with it. . . the canvas has been painted completely white. Delving deep into the psychology of the three characters, the play brings to the surface questions that society has been asking for thousands of years. Who has the power to define art? How can art affect our lives? And ultimately. . . what IS art?
Winner of both the 1998 Tony Award for Best Play and 1996 Olivier Award for Best Comedy, "Art" is not a performance to be missed!
