Concert in the Courtyard Series
The Gwen & Jim Tracy Duo has become a musical staple of Upstate NY. With Gwen on lead vocals and rhythm guitar and Jim on lead guitar and vocals, they are often accompanied by other great musicians and special guests from around New York State.
Gwen has gained renown as a vocal powerhouse, guitarist, and songwriter. Her musical cocktail calls for two parts blues, one-part rock and roll, and a splash of folk tradition.
Gwen’s mission, as a performer, is to forge a connection with and inspire her audience. Born into a musical family, Gwen has performed on stage with some of the best musicians in the area and derives the most enjoyment from performing with her long-time musical partner, her father, Jim.
Jim, who plays many string instruments, has been playing with local and regional bands and ensembles for many years. As a retired art teacher, he now enjoys his time creating art and making music with both his daughter and his wife, Bonnie.
Gwen and Jim are natives to the Adirondacks, with family roots dating back to the early 1800’s. With their combined love for music and their Adirondack home, their passion makes them a group you will not want to miss this summer! Jim and Gwen are excited to return, after this difficult year, with a plethora of new material from their upcoming album to share with the audiences that they have missed so much!

This event is free to the public but donations will be appreciated so we may have more free events in the future. If you would like to bring your own chair or blanket, please do so. Some chairs will be provided. Cash bar of wine, beer, and other spirits as well as sodas will be available for you to purchase.
