Concerts in the Courtyard Series
Joe Bolton is one of Old Forge's favorite musicians. Guitarists that play all genres; Blues, County, Folk, Pop, Classic Rock, Southern Rock, and oldies.
A fixture in the Old Forge area music scene, Joe Bolton has been playing guitar and singing as a solo act, in duos and with several bands since the 1980’s. He has lived in the area his entire life. His friendship with Mary Brophy-Moore started at the old Tote’s Tea House in Thendara at open mike nights after Mary moved to Old Forge in 1987. The two performed together in the late 80’s and early 90’s as a duo and in a band they started named The Lost Souls. After a long hiatus, the band reformed in 2016 for a one-time reunion show but were compelled to perform several more times in Old Forge. Joe and Mary have performed as a duo for the last few years at open mikes, the Old Forge Library and Fire ‘n Spice at the Seventh Lake House. Their eclectic repertoire of popular covers includes country, rock, folk and blues.

This event is free to the public but donations will be appreciated so we may have more free events in the future. If you would like to bring your own chair or blanket, please do so. Some chairs will be provided. Cash bar of wine, beer, and other spirits as well as sodas will be available for you to purchase.
