Nick Ziobro: a dynamic voice in the world of classic American standards –was the national winner of the 2012 Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Vocal Competition. He spent a year serving as the Great American Songbook Youth Ambassador and touring with his mentor, world renowned performer Michael Feinstein.
When he made his New York debut at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency as the opening act for Michael Feinstein and Marilyn Maye, The New York Times praised him for “an easy swinging confidence and charm that suggested he could evolve into another Michael Bublé.”
Ziobro earned a host of rave reviews around the country. He was hailed as “a budding young talent” by LA Weekly, and called “a radiant presence” from Edge Los Angeles, “absolutely breathtaking” by the Carmel Current and “stunning” by the Napa Valley Register.
In addition to opening for Feinstein, Barbara Cook, B.B. King, and Marilyn Maye, other performances include the Pasadena Pops with Marvin Hamlisch, Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, The Nugget in Reno, the Cincinnati Pops at Riverbend Music Center, and the Napa Valley Opera House.
Nick performed at the induction galas for the Great American Songbook Hall of Fame in 2012 and 2013 alongside Liza Minnelli, Barry Manilow, Rita Moreno, Andrea McArdle, Clay Aiken, Lari White, and Jose Feliciano. He was invited to perform the National Anthem at the Indianapolis Colts game in September 2012.
Recent performances include Sinatra at 100 Celebration at Symphony Space on Broadway hosted by Jonathan Schwartz, and the Jonathan Schwartz 46th annual Christmas Show broadcast live from Birdland. He also joined Michael Feinstein at Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the Kravis Center, the Naples Philharmonic, and Wynn Las Vegas.
Nick was a featured act in Season 10 of America's Got Talent as part of the singing duo "Nick & Eddie" and a featured act on the television special broadcast Extraordinary (ABC Syracuse). His voice can be heard singing in commercial advertisements on TV and radio. While pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at Rider University, he made his professional acting debut as the lead in the short film The Last Pick Up to be released in 2017 and his professional stage debut in the musical “Route 66” in June of 2016.
Ziobro’s debut album – A LOT OF LIVIN' TO DO- produced by Michael Feinstein and featuring jazz greats Bucky Pizzarelli, Tedd Firth, Jay Leonhart and more – was released in May 2014.
