Tapestry, the All-Centuries Singers, under the direction of G. Roberts Kolb, will present motets and anthems for the advent and Christmas seasons. The oldest works are from the late 16th century; the newest are advent motets by the living English composer Robert Hugill. The program includes varied settings of Marian songs, such as "There Is No Rose of Such Virtue," and settings of the song of Mary ("Magnificat") by Distler, Mendelssohn, Pinkham, and Pachelbel.
