Instructor: Niki English
In this beginner workshop, you will master the embroidery basics as you complete a custom designed embroidery layout by artist Hilary Hubanks, depicting travels to Tulum, Mexico. We will learn how to transfer a printed image onto fabric, what types of fabrics are acceptable for embroidery, types of embroidery floss, types of needles, and how to set fabric into a hoop. We will begin with a basic embroidery sampler to master a number of stitches, and you will leave the class with the skills and materials to complete the full embroidery design at home.
All materials are included in the class cost.
