In this five hour workshop Carol Marie Vossler, will teach participants the process of creating a Nepolease Pulp Painting. Student will be actively engaged in turning rags into pulp, and that pulp into paper paintings. Students will learn the history of Nepolease paper making, different types of fibers used, pigments, an overview of decorative and compositional techniques, including instruction on how to cut and layer stencils.
Each participant will make their own 16” x 22” pulp painting.

Due to current Covid-19 guidelines we are asking all interested students if you are fully vaccinated, as a part of our registration process. At this time you do not need to be fully vaccinated in order to participate in in-person workshops. This information will only be used for the View Center for Art and Culture to prepare proper seating for our classes in accordance with CDC and New York State guidelines. Masks and social distancing is required if you have not yet been fully vaccinated and or have not provided proof of vaccination to the front desk.
