Join us for a beginner level class into the fiber technique known as Nuno Felting with artist Mallory Zondag. Nuno Felting is the process of felting wool roving and/or wool yarns onto another fabric, often silk or cotton. This style of fabric making is often common for scarves, shawls, and other decorative second layer materials. You will be able to choose from a wide variety of colors and patterns, to create a beautiful hand made shawl.
Registration deadline is June 23rd, all materials will be included.
*Lunch break will be at 1:00pm, please bring packed lunch to class.

About Mallory: Artist Bio: Mallory Zondag is a Mixed Media Fiber artist. She graduated from Pratt Institute with honors, a BFA in Fashion Design and a minor in Art History. While at Pratt she focused on creating handmade one of a kind textiles for her collections. Since graduating, she has built a career as an independent artist and arts educator. Mallory has exhibited in galleries, participated in artist festivals, residencies and collective shows in New York and Pennsylvania. Currently located in Upstate New York.
