Have you ever wanted to do detailed drawings but somehow couldn’t get the drawing to look right?
The pencil marks were just wrong, the drawing looking messy and unfinished? In this course, we will
concentrate on mark making through each of the various projects. We will go from sketches to
finished drawings.
In this course we will delve into the methods of graphite drawing, tonal drawing, stippling, Hatching,
cross-hatching and how to achieve contrast.
For the Water-soluble portion of the course, we will do basic shapes as they relate to botanicals and
use both regular graphite and the water-soluble graphite to achieve our results.
Please Note: We will record the Botanical graphite class, if you can’t make all the sessions, you will be
able to catch up on each class.
