Thin strips of glass set on edge allow you to create beautiful patterns and unexpected accents.
In this class, you will learn how to cut thin strips of glass and use different colors, and opaque and transparent glasses to design a small bowl or plate. You will discover possibilities of using focal points, and specialty glasses. You will learn how kiln placement effects the results of your firing.
You will make a flat designed piece which will be fired to fuse it together and then fired a second time to slump it into your desired shape.
