Learn fundamentals and techniques in Cutting, Stamping and Coloring on Copper. This amazing technique uses colored pencil and permanent ink to color a copper surface. In this workshop you will learn how to prepare copper to accept hand-applied color for a permanent effect, design, use metal stamps, apply color, patina and seal finished a few beautiful pendant you can be proud of.
If students want their own pencils to use they can purchase: 12 pc Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils
[note: this is the only type that will work]
Otherwise we will use a shared set in the workshop.
Jacquelyn is a full time freelance artist for the last 20 years, specialized in Lampworking Glass, Jewelry Design, Metalsmithing and Painting. Her home studio is nestled in small town in the foothills of Adirondacks. As for formal education Jacquelyn attended PrattMWP and received Fine Arts degree , BA in Psychology from SUNY Poly and still continues to attends workshops and classes.
