Chainmail Bracelets

July 7, 2022
Chainmail is the basic approach to making flexible fabric of interlocking metal rings. In history, mail was used for protective dress, however it has been revived as a jewelry component or as a jewelry form in itself. The techniques are fairly simple but repetitive and involve multiple and interlocking rings.

This 2 hour workshop will introduce the jump ring, key wire gauges, insider diameters, followed up with examples of different types of chain that can be made. Learn 2 patterns and provided with enough jump rings and clasp to complete one 7 inch brass bracelet. And will wrap up with instruction on how to create antique coloring on the brass.

All materials will be provided, Registration Deadline July 1st

Members: $75      Non-Members: $85
