View Ceramic Artist-in-Residence Program

View Ceramic Artist-in-Residence Program is designed to encourage creative, intellectual and personal growth of emerging and established ceramic artists.  The primary goal of the program is to allow creative space to develop one’s work within the View’s state of the art pottery facility.

The resident will work no more than 20 hours a week in the studio and is responsible for helping with reclaiming clay, firing the kilns, making glazes, and teaching one or two workshops.  The resident will also assist with inventory and fundraising activities.

View will provide the resident with access to our state of the art ceramic studio.  View will cover firing and material costs for the residents.  Limited housing may be available, please inquire when applying.

Dependent upon gallery space and length of time of residency, the artist may have the opportunity for an exhibit of their work.

Located in the Central Adirondacks, this resort community offers the Adirondack lifestyle and many different activities.
