2 classes | 4 contact hours | Pottery Studio
Friday, July 16th from 10:00 am -12:00 pm
Friday, July 23rd from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm (optional)
In this workshop, instructor Wendy Seifried, will teach you basic hand building skills to make two medium sized leaf dishes/bowls. Creating these items not only will teach you what you need to begin your ceramic interests, but you will be able to take away your very own leaf dishes. We will use natural leaves, twigs, stamps and rollers to texturize our beautiful free-form pieces. The instructor will provide natural leaves and twigs to use but you are welcome to bring your own to use, too!
The following Friday, July 23rd from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, there will be a glazing session to glaze your work. If you cannot attend that session the instructor will glaze your work for you and you will be able to pick up your work after the glaze firing.
No pottery experience is needed.
Please bring your own apron/smock and small hand towel.
