A Message From Elise Incze, Pottery and Workshops Team Member:
We are continuing to share memories, ideas, inspiration, as some potters are able to continue to work at home!
Sharing some of the joy with you. My Christmas Cactus is blooming in one of my handmade pots. It looks so pretty!
One of my favorite parts of throwing on the wheel is trimming and creating the foot for the bowl to sit on. Here is a fun clip of all the pottery bits flying as I trim away!
A Message From Wendy Seifried:
Throwing small is not as easy as you might think! Be amazed at the following Pinterest videos showing artists doing extreme miniature pieces!
Take a look at “Miniature Hand Thrown Pottery” by Jon Almeda and “Mini Ceramics” by Red Dragon Pottery.
Here is a collection of some of my mini-pots I have made!
And an image from a new project:
Starting to make ornaments for the Holiday sale!
