Zumba is a total workout, combining all elements of fitness, such as cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility. Zumba takes the “work” out of workout. It uses Latin and World rhythms to mix low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
Instructor Elisabeth Lorentzsen lives in Old Forge, NY. She has been a ZIN™ Member since Mar 2010 and absolutely loves teaching Zumba classes. She is also a Spanish teacher and loves adding the Latin flair to her classes. You don't have to know Spanish or be familiar with the steps to start moving and grooving. Zumba is based on Latin as well as international rhythms and meant to get you moving! You won't find a better workout! The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! She is currently licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Gold®, Zumba® Kids & Kids Jr.. Come join Elisabeth, She guarantees you will have a blast! She is also currently an AFAA certified Group Instructor. All levels and ages welcome, as well as walk-ins.
The Zumba class is a 5 -session punch card meeting Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Gould Hall. Zumba will be starting on July 10th and ending August 22nd. Class will start at 9:00 am and end at 10:00 am. Cost of the 5-session punch card is $45 for Members and $50 for non-members. Walk ins are welcome at a cost of $10 Members and $12 for non-members. You can pay at the front desk or online. If paying online bring your receipt to the front desk to receive your punch card.
