Zoom Screenwriting Adventure Series with Gregg Guest

Join View and award winning screenwriter Gregg Guest for a one of a kind zoom writers series. Zoom Screenwriter Adventure Series allows students to learn the basics of screenwriting, while also seeking advice from someone in the field. Classes will cover basic elements such as how to properly develop a plot, how to create attention grabbing characters, how to pitch a screenplay, and so much more. Each session builds upon the last, and students are encouraged to ask questions and participate in discussions. This series is geared towards those who have ever wanted to create a screenplay but didn't know how, have been working on one but are not quite sure what comes next, or those who just have a love of the performing arts.

Artist Bio:  Gregg Guest attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he received a BFA in Film & Television and won a bronze CINDY award for his short film " Regular Coffee". In 2004, Gregg won Best Screenplay at the Westchester Country Film Festival for his script entitled "Guardians of the Crown," an action adventure set in the waning days of WWII. The screenplay was also a quarter finalist in the highly acclaimed Nicholls Screenwriting Fellowship competition. In 2005, Gregg began working for Marvel Entertainment as Director of Special Projects, where he wrote spec scripts for "Iron Man” and “Hawkeye” and supported the company's new media strategies and merchandising programs. In addition to writing screenplays, Gregg is a visual artist and musician.
