Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and front desk operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax regulations
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions
• Recommend process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and controls
• Communicate with current and potential donors
• Work with Development Committee

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred and/or 3+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience a plus)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
