Hey there! I’m Anna Brasted—born in State College, PA, raised in a small town in Western New York, and now happily rooted in Old Forge.

I’m a proud SUNY Cortland grad (Go C-State!) with a BA in New Communication Media and Studio Art, specializing in photography and printmaking. While at Cortland, I picked up everything from video editing to bookmaking—and even spent time studying abroad in Dingle, Ireland.

In 2024, I earned my MFA from the Visual Studies Workshop at SUNY Brockport, deepening my love for visual storytelling and creative exploration.

My journey with View started as a summer intern in 2023, and I was thrilled to return in 2025 as the Marketing and Exhibitions Associate, where I get to combine my varied passions and flex my creative skills doing something different each day.

A few fun facts about me:

I’m a mini golf enthusiast and ambidextrous putter
I love to capture the beauty of nature through my camera lens
I enjoy kayaking and being outdoors, but am equally content curled up inside for a cozy movie night with my betta, Arthur, on the table beside me
