Gina Colosimo

Visual Arts Coordinator

Hey! I’m Gina Colosimo, originally from Western New York. Over the past few years, I’ve spent a lot of time working in and around the Adirondacks! I was also the Exhibitions Intern at View in 2024, and I’m excited to be back and continue my work in the Visual Arts Department.

I’m an Alfred University alum with a BFA in Art and Design and a minor in Art History. I’m passionate about working with and meeting talented artists, and their creativity inspires me every day. I love seeing the artistic communities that have been built here and watching them continue to grow and flourish!

I’m an artist myself, I paint, working in oils, acrylic, gouache, and I also work with fiber sculpture. In the winter, you can catch me crocheting up a storm! I’ve been really into crafting lately, and I love that I get to learn something new about creative practices every day while working at View.

The Adirondacks are such a special place to be. In the summer, I’m often kayaking, swimming, or hiking. However, I’ve never skied before in my life (even growing up in the Buffalo area!), and my goal is to finally give it a try…
