SPECIAL INVITATION TO OLD FORGE RESIDENTS AND VISITORS:
All are invited to attend an art auction, the culmination of a 3 day painting event, Saturday evening, August 31, 2019. Fifty artists will spend several days painting en plein air (outdoors) in various locations around the Old Forge area, and each will donate a painting for the benefit auction.
Visitors and residents of the area are encouraged to come to View for a Preview Reception at 5:00, when all of the donated paintings will be on display. In addition, other paintings by the participating artists will be for “pay and take” sale in View’s lobby during the entire 3 days. The Auction will begin at 5:30.
All proceeds will benefit View’s year-round programs, events, activities and opportunities to celebrate the arts in the Adirondacks!
