It’s all within View! Join us for a weekend of holiday fun, November 24th and 25th. View will be open Friday and Saturday from 10am – 4pm. Kick off the weekend with Ornament Decorating and a holiday craft table on both Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. Spend some time holiday shopping for handcrafted pottery at View’s annual Holiday Sale fundraiser and see what our gift shop has to offer!
Starting November 20th, and continuing through December, stop by to stroll through View’s lobby to see what pottery is being showcased for the annual Holiday Sale. You may even go home with a piece of your own! The sale will help support View’s ceramic program. Don’t miss your chance to buy wonderfully handcrafted holiday presents!
Stop in on Friday November 24th and Saturday 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to paint holiday ornaments and create a holiday craft. Ornaments are $5.00 a piece or three for $12.00. The cost to make a holiday handmade craft is $5.00 per person.
Also come in and vote for your favorite Gingerbread House. Stop by November 24th and 25th to cast your vote for your favorite house. Wining house will be notified December 11th.
View’s gift shop will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, November 24th and November 25th, so you can do some holiday shopping while you’re here too! We have handmade, one-of-a-kind pottery, glass earrings, alpaca blankets and scarves, and all kinds of children’s crafts, coloring books and stocking stuffers as well. Plus, all of your favorite local artists’ goodies: Carolyn Gaylord’s silver jewelry, Joanne DeStefano’s Local Landmark Postcards, Linda Scherz Allen’s handcrafted baskets, Donna Stoner’s Plein Air painting, Adirondack Mountain Coffee, and that is just to name a few.
