Join View from Oct. 26-29 for our Halloween Week of special events, including our 3rd annual signature Halloween Party.
October 26 | 4:00-7:30 pm - CAA Pumpkin Carving
The Annual Central Adirondack Association Pumpkin Carving Party is coming back to View. Everyone is welcome to come and pumpkins are free to carve.
October 27 | 7:00pm - Special Free Screening of Night of the Living Dead
We will be having a special screening of the movie that created the modern zombie, George A. Romeros 1968 classic, Night of the Living Dead.
The film follows Ben (Duane Jones), Barbra Cole (Judith O'Dea), and five others, who are trapped in a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania and attempt to survive the night while the house is being attacked by mysteriously reanimated corpses, known as ghouls or zombies.
The movie will start at 7pm and is free to the public. A wine and beer cash bar will available.
2:15-4:30 pm - Trick-or-Treating at View
We welcome kids to come in to Trick-or-Treat at different stations set up in View, giving out candy and other goodies. Free to all kids. Everyone can get a sneak peak of the decorations for the Haunted Hollows Halloween Party.
7:00-10:30 pm - FREE Haunted Hollows Halloween Party
View will be transformed into a Haunted Hollows for View's 3rd Annual Halloween Party and will feature a cash bar, with some Halloween-themed specialty cocktails, heavy appetizers, music by DJ Ed Tondryk, and, of course, a costume contest. Due to the alcohol at the event, the party is for ages 21 and over.
The party is free to the public and is being co-sponsored by the Central Adirondack Association as part of the Hallowed Forge Pumpkin Party.
