8th Annual Plein Air Paint Out Call to Artists!

We have three days filled with activities planned for you. Artists are invited to paint all around the Old Forge area; a list of suggested sites will be provided. In return, each artist is asked to donate one framed, ready to hang artwork for the live bidding auction held at View on Saturday, September 2nd, at 5:30. All proceeds support programming at View; exhibits, performances and workshops as well as community centered activities.

Schedule of Events

In addition, you are invited to bring up to two framed paintings (no larger then 36”) to be displayed for sale in the View lobby during the Event, Thursday -Saturday. *View collects a 35% commission on all sales.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to paint in the Adirondacks with some of the area’s top artists. To quote one of our returning artists, “I wouldn’t miss it. The scenery is challenging and beautiful, the town welcoming and the staff and volunteers do a great job hosting this event.
