Guests: Join us during this exciting evening for the chance to own an original work of Adirondack art, created for and graciously donated to View by some of the region's most highly regarded plein air painters. The event includes the live auction, with more artwork in the lobby by participating artists, consignments, a raffle and more. The event is free and open to the public and all proceeds will go to underwrite programming at View. If you are an artist interested in participating, please contact View Curator, Cory E. Card, at firstname.lastname@example.org
View invites you to join us for our Eighth Annual Plein Air Paint Out, Aug 31 - Sept 2 and to stay for the Art Auction.
You may attend for one, two or three days, as you wish. All we ask is that you donate at least one framed work for the Art Auction (which may be painted on site or previously painted). If you would like to donate a previously painted work, contact View Curator, Cory E. Card at email@example.com
You can display a maximum of (2) items for sale (cannot exceed 36" in any direction) in our Lobby. There is a 35% commission on consignment sales, so price your piece(s) accordingly. Please register your work, with the title, medium, and size by August 15.
Rooms with host families will be available on a first come basis.
The fabulous Brian Bamberger cookout at View for participating artists and one guest will be on Friday, September 4 at 5:30 pm.
The Art Auction will be on Saturday evening, September 3, at 5:30.
Space will be available at View for finishing and framing artwork and for use in case of rain. Artwork must be framed at the artist's expense. Please, no saw tooth hangers. We can supply the location of a local shop where you can have your work professionally framed.
If you cannot attend the Paint Out but wish to donate an item for the Art Auction, contact Cory Card, Exhibitions Manager, (firstname.lastname@example.org), to arrange a time for him to receive your work.
We look forward to seeing you at the Paint Out.
