The Memphis Speed Kings was formed in 2009, when jazz clarinetist Dave Bennett and drummer Hal Smith discovered a mutual admiration for the music of “The Killer” — Jerry Lee Lewis. In this concert this smokin’ hot band will feature Tommy Harkenrider on lead guitar, Joe Jazdzewski on bass, and Bob Sale on drums.

Dave Bennett is a multi-instrumentalist (piano, clarinet, guitar) and singer who performs everything from jazz and swing to rock and roll. As a jazz and pop clarinet player, Bennett has performed all over North America at historic venues and festivals...including Carnegie Hall!
