Eco Talk: Mike Schreppel

Join diver Mike Schreppel for an Eco Talk about our water, its plant life, and the debris he's pulled from the lakes.

Mike's presentation will include information about

• Plant life in the lake’s both natural and invasive. What invasive’s to look out for and how to prevent them also which ones are in our lakes and what can be done to prevent their spread and how to eradicate them.
• Information about the fish population in the lakes.
• Information about the many objects and debris found on the bottom of the lakes, with samples.
• Information about the lake bottom some place’s sandy, some rocky and some areas where objects can disappear in 4 feet of muck instantly.
• Information about the water quality of the lakes from a scientific perspective. 
• Information about junk and trash that people have been throwing in the lakes over the years.
• And photos about the colorful plant life in the swampy areas.
