Extrusions: Ceramic Bead Pole Beads

Take your ceramic bead-making in a new direction using the clay extruder in this dynamic ceramic workshop. Participants will explore how to create beads from extruded forms, cutting and shaping lengths of clay into unique, repeatable elements. Emphasis will be placed on consistency, clean cuts, and inventive construction as you transform simple extrusions into dimensional beads. Experiment with texture, pattern, and surface design to give each piece character, then assemble your forms into a striking bead pole sculpture. Suitable for all skill levels, this class combines process-driven techniques with creative exploration for bold, modern results.

This is the third and final workshop in a series of 3 to create different style beads for your very own garden art.  Take 1, 2 or all 3 classes, the choice is yours.  All materials are included in the cost of the class.  No previous pottery experience necessary.  Create up to 3 beads per class, as time allows.  Children 12 and over are welcome.  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the first day of a class will receive a 100% refund, or can be exchanged for another class. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the first day of class can only be exchanged for another class. No refunds or exchanges will be made for failing to show up to class without prior notice.
