Festival Flavors: Holiday Drinks Culinary Workshop

Wow your family and friends and take your gatherings to the next level this winter with homemade versions of the holiday staples, eggnog and hot cocoa!

Instructor Travis Kiefer will walk you through step-by-step directions to make these holiday favorites from scratch, creating far superior versions than you would find at the grocery store.  Travis will teach you how to temper eggs safely and create an eggnog that will blow your festive, fuzzy socks off.  He will briefly explain the origins and significance of hot cocoa, as participants will learn how to make an extra chocolatey cup of everyone's favorite winter drink. He will also show you how to make it a little more like it's original form by adding some extra spices.

To top it off, Travis will also demonstrate how to make light, airy marshmallows at home and will have some prepared for participants to finish the final steps and taste the difference between their store-bought counterparts.  He will also show you a simple way to make whipped cream in small batches to top off you hot chocolate.

The class makes for a perfect date or night out with friends.
