Lighted Ceramic Christmas Tree

Bring a little nostalgia and holiday magic to your season with View Arts Center’s take on the classic ceramic Christmas tree! Join instructor Kristin Martin in this hands-on workshop, where you’ll hand-build your own ceramic tree, inspired by the beloved vintage lighted trees that have brightened holiday homes for generations. Add your own creative touches and festive details to make it uniquely yours. Once finished, your tree will be glazed in a color of your choosing and fired by View, to be picked up at a later date, ready to glow with holiday charm for years to come. Whether it becomes a treasured seasonal decoration or a heartfelt handmade gift, this timeless holiday project is sure to spark some Christmas spirit!  

Trees will measure approximately 8-10 inches and include 32 plastic "lights" along with a battery operated tea light.  All tools and materials are included in the cost of the workshop.  Kids 14 and older are welcome to attend.  No previous pottery experience is required.  Space is limited so early registration is recommended.  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop start date are eligible for a refund minus a 20% administrative fee.  Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the start date are non‑refundable. No‑shows are non‑refundable and not eligible for credit or make‑up sessions.  Workshops require a minimum number of paid participants. If minimum enrollment is not met 7 days prior to class, View may cancel the workshop and issue a full refund to registrants.
