Open Studio – By Appointment

Open Studio is designed for independent potters who have some clay experience and want access to a professional workspace without a monthly membership.

Each Open Studio session includes:

Up to 4 hours of studio time
5 lbs. of clay
Use of all studio tools and equipment, including pottery wheels
Glazing and kiln firing of your finished pieces
Studio supervision and support (not formal instruction)

Wheel throwing is available for those with prior experience. If you're unfamiliar with a particular piece of equipment, we're happy to show you how to use it safely, but Open Studio is not intended as a teaching class.

Open Studio is perfect for:

Potters who can't commit to a monthly membership
Visitors looking for a place to create while in town
Students who have taken a class or workshop and want to make an extra piece on their own
Experienced ceramic artists who simply need access to a well-equipped studio

Advance appointments are required. Come create, experiment, and enjoy the studio with the flexibility to work on your own schedule.
