Slabs: Ceramic Bead Pole Beads Workshop

Discover a fresh approach to bead-making using hand built slab techniques in this creative ceramic workshop. Participants will roll, cut, and form slabs into beads, exploring how flat clay can be transformed into dimensional shapes. Focus will be placed on clean construction and achieving balanced forms while allowing for playful variations in size and design. Add texture, carving, and surface details to create visual interest, then stack your finished beads into a unique ceramic bead pole sculpture.  Perfect for all skill levels, this class offers an engaging blend of structure, creativity, and hands-on problem solving.

This is the second in a series of 3 classes to create different style beads for your very own garden art.  Take 1, 2 or all 3 classes, the choice is yours.  All materials are included in the cost of the class.  No previous pottery experience necessary.  Create up to 3 beads per class, as time allows.  Children 12 and over are welcome.  

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the first day of a class will receive a 100% refund, or can be exchanged for another class. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the first day of class can only be exchanged for another class. No refunds or exchanges will be made for failing to show up to class without prior notice.
