New York Agriculture in the Classroom (NYAITC) and View Center for Arts & Culture are excited to announce it's second year of the “Schoolyard Sugaring Maple Contest Photography Exhibit."

Each year New York Agriculture in the Classroom, and industry partner the New York State Maple Foundation, challenge students and teachers from around New York state to engage with maple production through project-based learning and standards-based teaching in the classroom. Through the spring participating students learn about and make maple syrup from tapping to bottling and all steps in between. The culminating outcome is for students and teachers to submit a sample of student/school made maple syrup and photography that captures student and teacher engagement with the maple process.
