Weekend Pottery Retreat with Juliann Roush

Join us for a relaxing and inspiring Pottery Weekend Retreat with potter, Juliann Roush, designed to nurture both your creativity and your spirit. Over the course of the weekend, participants will explore hand-building techniques, experiment with surface design and glazing, and create unique ceramic pieces to cherish.

This retreat blends skill-building with community. You’ll receive guided instruction, demonstrations, and plenty of open studio time to develop and  work at your own pace.

Enjoy a meet and greet with artist talk on Friday, 2 day "Hinges & High Temp Wire" hand building workshop, meaningful conversation, and a cozy studio atmosphere that encourages connection and learning. By Sunday afternoon, you’ll have a "puffy box" in progress, new skills, and a renewed creative spark.  View will be happy to bisque fire your final piece to be glazed at your convenience and then glaze fire to be picked up at a later date.  

Day 1 :  Friday, August 21, 2026 5pm

Day 2:  Saturday, August 22, 2026 7:30am

• Breakfast
• Demo & Wire Stamps
• Stamp Slabs & Cut out Pattern
• Glazing Demo
• Lunch
• Assemble box form
• Add decorative edge, feet and hanger
• Dinner

Day 3:  Sunday, August 23, 2026 7:30am

• Breakfast
• Cut the Door
• Add coils & make hinges
• Lunch
• Add decoration with clay & high temp wire
• Farewell Dinner

Are you not able to attend the full workshop?  Would you like to come just for the Artist talk on Friday night?  Register for the Artist talk only!

Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the first day of a class will receive a 100% refund, or can be exchanged for another class.  Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the first day of class can only be exchanged for another class.  No refunds or exchanges will be made for failing to show up to class without prior notice.  

In the event that View were to cancel a class, a full refund for the class will be issued.
