Zoom: 3 Important Things You Need to Land a Publisher
View all Classes & WorkshopsOverview
Let's say you're working hard on a manuscript, or you've already written it. HOW do you land a contract with a publisher?
Having a great manuscript to offer is important, of course - but there are three other things you need to have when you make your approach.
There are important ways to make yourself really, truly ready to make yourself as an author and your book attractive to a publisher. If you want to show up at a publisher with a robust presentation, this is the workshop you need.
What you'll need: A way to take notes or to record the session; a quiet setting that allows you to participate without interruptions.
What you'll take away: Knowledge about social media, creating a proposal, finding a good literary agent, and instruction on how to develop these important facets of an author's presentation.
This class will be held via Zoom. After registration, the instructor will send you a Zoom link for you to attend this online class.
