Concerts in the Courtyard!

We are happy to continue our tradition of offering free, summertime musical entertainment with our Concerts in the Courtyard series!  We have a wonderfully eclectic line-up of talented musicians from the central and northern regions of New York State to present to you this summer.  We hope you can take a break every Wednesday to enjoy a musical "happy hour" with us, complete with cash bar and house-made pretzels! 

Here's who you'll hear this summer under the tent:

• July 1:  Ryan Quinn, finalist on The Voice, is a brilliant singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He charms with his anecdotes and performs a wide variety of songs spanning multiple decades and genres.
• July 8:  Shawn Smith, “The Big Sexy,” finalist on The Voice, is a charismatic entertainer, performing a mix of Rock & Roll and Country standards with his powerful voice, and dynamic guitar style.
• July 15:  The Rebecca Miner Trio features Rebecca on vocals and rhythm guitar singing an eclectic blend of Country, Rock & Roll, Blues and Jazz.  Tim Baldwin on lead guitar and John Handzel round out this fine trio.
• July 22:  The Jake Lozo Trio play and sing their own brand of Blues, featuring a fresh, soulful sound with a modern twist. Jake’s guitar work is as fiery as it is expressive, weaving together the rich tradition of Blues with his own youthful, dynamic style.
• July 29:  Steve Quenneville & Dave Liddy, award-winning inductees to the NY Blues Hall of Fame and the Syracuse Music Hall of Fame, this pair of fine musicians sing and strum their strings and tickle their ivories in a unique "Americana" mix of jazz standards, boogie-woogie, ragtime and blues!     
• August 5:  The Cosmo Castellano Trio, featuring Cosmo on guitar and vocals, Sam Sempere on sax, and Joe Karwacki on bass, draws from the past century’s rich musical heritage, playing cool classics from the Great American Songbook as well as more chill contemporary favorites.
• August 12:  Taylor LaValley is an accomplished song writer influenced greatly by her father's career in country music.  Her style is her own, though, and delightfully evident in every song she sings and plays, originals and covers alike!
• August 19:  Loren & LJ Barrigar are a father and son duo who prove the adage, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!"  Their virtuosic guitar pickin' gets the heart pumpin', while their rich baritone voices, blending as only family can, get straight to the heart of every ballad!
• August 26:  Penny Bianco sings and plays “songs that you know and can sing along with,” putting her own twist on an eclectic collection of covers from the 60’s through to the 21st Century. Sharing music with an audience is her passion, and it shows!

As ever, our Concerts in the Courtyard are free for all to enjoy!  Donations are always welcome, though!
