Dave Bennett and the Memphis Speed Kings

Anyone who loves the dynamic energy and pure talent of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry will find them reincarnated in Dave Bennet and The Memphis Speed Kings!

This high energy, uber-talent-filled concert is brought to View in full by the generous donation of an anonymous patron. Per the patron's wishes, proceeds from this special concert will be split evenly between the Old Forge Fire Department and View.  

The Memphis Speed Kings was formed in 2009, when jazz clarinetist Dave Bennett and drummer Hal Smith discovered a mutual admiration for the music of “The Killer” — Jerry Lee Lewis.  Gino Meregillano on Guitar and Vocals, and Joe Jazdzewski Bass round out this smokin' hot ensemble.

Bennett is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who performs everything from jazz and swing to rock and roll. As a jazz and pop clarinet player, Bennett has performed all over North America at historic venues and festivals...including Carnegie Hall!
