Join Amanda Clifford, Director of The Stickley Museum, for an engaging presentation exploring the legacy of Stickley furniture and the enduring influence of the American Arts and Crafts movement on contemporary design.

Drawing on her extensive experience working with Stickley collections, Clifford will share insights into the craftsmanship, philosophy, and continued relevance of this iconic design tradition.

Guest Curator: Amanda Clifford

Amanda Clifford is Director of The Stickley Museum, where she brings a broad and
hands-on background in museum leadership, collections care, exhibition development,
and artist-in-residence program management. Her professional experience spans
institutions across the country, including roles in Philadelphia, Houston, Syracuse, and
Fairbanks, Alaska, giving her a wide-ranging perspective on regional arts and museum
practice.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Moravian University and a Master
of Arts in both Art History and Museum Studies from Syracuse University. She currently
serves on the board of the Arts and Crafts Society of Central New York and is an active
ambassador for Stickley, engaging with the community through events, public outreach, and ongoing conversations about the company’s history and the museum’s collections.
