Call for Entry Application
Tracks and Tracts is a national juried exhibition that invites artists to explore the theme of leaving traces in the earth through animal tracks, human footprints, and what is left behind, including skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and industrial tracks such as railroads, bridges, and winter logging routes. These remnants reveal what has passed through, lingered behind, and become part of the landscape's memory.
The exhibition will feature works in all media, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, and photography.
We welcome a variety of styles, subjects, and techniques, with thoughtful interpretations of the theme. Artists are encouraged to consider both literal and metaphorical traces, marks on the land, evidence of movement, histories embedded in place, and the enduring impact of human and natural activity on the environment.
