Overview

Join expert angler and instructor Rob Streeter for a hands-on introduction to the timeless craft of fly tying. In this engaging workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of creating custom fishing flies—from selecting materials to mastering essential techniques. Whether you're new to fly fishing or looking to expand your skills, Rob will guide you step-by-step as you create flies that are as functional as they are beautiful. All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and leave with a collection of hand-tied flies ready for the water.  A basic fly tying tool kit is included in the cost of the class, yours to take with you at the end of the workshop.  If you already have your own tool kit, choose the registration options w/out the tool kit.  

Rob Streeter is an award winning outdoor writer. His fly fishing articles articles have appeared in national publications including American Angler and Outdoor Life. He also was the outdoor columnist for two Upstate, New York newspapers (Albany Times Union and Amsterdam Recorder) for many years. Rob’s photography illustrated many of these articles.  Rob is the author of four fly fishing books and has a YouTube fly fishing and fly tying channel with hundreds of videos at Rob Streeter Outdoors.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the first day of a class will receive a 100% refund, or can be exchanged for another class.  Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the first day of class can only be exchanged for another class.  No refunds or exchanges will be made for failing to show up to class without prior notice.  

In the event that View were to cancel a class, a full refund for the class will be issued.
