Overview

Missoula Children’s Theatre and View are teaming up to bring a week-long theatre day-camp to Old Forge!  On Monday, your pre-registered child (going into 1st grade-18 years old) will be auditioned for placement in a role—have no fear, every child will be cast in Missoula’s rockin’ musical version of Sleeping Beauty!  Plus, four middle- or high-school age children will be tapped to be Assistant Directors who help teach the show to the others, and run the show backstage); then, after a short lunch break, rehearsals begin! Tuesday through Friday, rehearsals and fun theatre games and workshops will engage and encourage your child’s creativity!  Saturday it all comes together for two performances (3:00pm and 5:30pm).  A week sure to create magical summer memories for your child that will last a lifetime!

Each day begins at 10:00am with the morning session of rehearsals and/or workshops ending at noon.  There is a short break for lunch (not provided) and at 12:15 the afternoon session begins! The session ends at 2:15, at which time, your child is ready to be picked up!  (**It is important that your child is committed to being at every rehearsal during the week!**) On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, if your child isn’t ready to go home yet, after a short snack break (not provided) there will be a 45-minute, engaging theatre game/workshop for them to take part in, ready to be picked up at 3:15 (Attendance optional).

Registration fee is $80.

**Note:  In the youngest age range, 5 (going into first grade) -7, the number of registrants is capped at 16, (early registration is recommended) while the total number of all children for the camp caps out at 40!**
