Wearable Art

This juried exhibition turns the body into a canvas, where clothing becomes a form of creative expression. Wearable Art includes original, handmade, and unconventional garments and accessories that push beyond traditional fashion, blending art, design, and innovation. This exhibition is part of a larger gallery exhibition, 2026 Quilts Unlimited.

CALL FOR ART:

Artists are invited to submit work created using fiber-based and textile techniques, including (but not limited to) quilting, felting, weaving, stitching, embroidery, crocheting, knitting, wearable sculpture, and mixed-media practices. We are especially interested in pieces that move beyond traditional apparel, embracing sculptural, experimental, and conceptual approaches to wearable art. We welcome functional fashion, avant-garde garments, accessories, and bold wearable statements that challenge conventional definitions of dress. Artists are responsible for providing any specialized display materials needed for presentation, such as mannequins or custom supports.
